Description The exploration of the Louisiana Purchase by the Corps of Discovery, led by Captains Lewis and Clark, resulted in one of the most thoroughly documented and extensively interpreted investigations of unknown territory. This 5-part exhibit highlights the extraordinary Montana Historical Society collection of primary documents, interpretive resources, and artifacts about the Corps' journey. Maps, documents, journals, artwork, and pop culture illustrate the exhibit.

Available in Febr. 2003, our newest exhibit can be booked for a $50 (in-state) fee, for a six week period of time. The booking venue is responsible for insurance value of $6,000, and for the cost of shipping the exhibit on to the next venue.
