Speakers
Montana is home to many talented men and women who have become interested in and informed about the Lewis & Clark Expedition. This is a list of many of those individuals from throughout the state who possess expertise and knowledge in a wide variety of Lewis & Clark subject areas and are willing to share their knowledge with Montanans via presentations and/or technical consultations.

 Entertainers and Performers
There are numerous speakers (many nationally acclaimed) who present historical interpretations (Chataquas) that may be available for presentations. These speakers are very informative and entertaining. Also featured in this section are talented theater groups, musical groups, multimedia presentations and various other entertainers and performers who perform Lewis & Clark programs. Some of these contacts can be hired for group presentations; others have scheduled performances.

 Traveling Trunks
Traveling Trunks may be a new concept to some, but they are a very innovative and effective way to encourage learning. This is a list of Traveling Trunks that concentrate on different aspects of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, how to reserve them, and what comes with them.

Reference Materials
As the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial nears, the educational aspects of the Expedition becomes increasingly more important. Fortunately, more and more accurate information is becoming more accessible. This section contains a varied collection of reference materials, ranging from books to magazines to maps that encompass the entire trail.  American Indian Resources
The American Indians who in various ways interacted with the Lewis & Clark Expedition were a great source of information. This is a listing of American Indian resources in Montana today that can provide an accurate and informational portrayal of their history, culture, and important role in the Expedition. Entertainers, speakers, agency representatives and more are all listed here.

Agencies and Technical Experts
The Bicentennial will no doubt affect all Montanans in one way or another. In an effort to ensure that the effects and impacts of the Bicentennial are positive, many state and federal agencies, groups and individuals who have specific expertise and management mandates, have joined together to plan strategies and to form partnerships. Many of these agencies and individuals are listed here with pertinent contact information and are willing to answer any questions they can in order to assist Montanans in planning for the Bicentennial.

Exhibits/Displays and Artifacts
Montana is home to numerous museums, visitor centers, missions and homes which house Lewis & Clark exhibits, displays, artifacts, paintings, sculptures and more--so many in fact, that one could spend years traveling to see them all. This is a growing list of these facilities and information on their hours, locations, and the exhibits they are featuring.

 Tour Guides and Tour Companies
As the Bicentennial nears, it seems one of the best ways to step back in time and join the Expedition is to travel the very trail Lewis & Clark traveled. These guides and tours offer a chance to do just that, while providing important historical accuracy and a wide variety of activities and routes. Listed here are "Step-On" Guides, who can guide you along the trail for various lengths of time on either land, air or water.
