Montana Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commission
To be considered for listing on the Bicentennial Commission's resource list for the 2003 season, please submit this application no later than the close of business May 1, 2003 to the address above for review.

Please detail work or volunteer experience, college level courses or other ways in which you gained your knowledge and experience, including dates, employers, organizations or course titles, number of credits, colleges. (HINT: Not so much what you know as how you have come to know it). Lewis and Clark's Journey Through Montana: (example: 1992-1995, taught high school level Montana History class, Chinook) Montana Indian History and Culture: (example: attended Fall 1989, MSU-COT class, "Indians of Montana," 3 semester credits) Lewis and Clark as Montana Naturalists: (example: 1985-present, member Montana Native Plant Society, attended 8 annual workshops) Visitor Service, Tour Services and Tour Logistics: (example: as a member of the Crimson Bluff Chapter, I have conducted five annual field trips in our area for the Smithsonian Institute. Attended SuperHost Training, 1997, 1999) Public Speaking, Storytelling and Interpretive Techniques: (example: member of Toastmasters, Helena chapter since 1978, give talks monthly) Knowledge of Historical Sites in Your Locale: (attended 12 field trips by our local historical society and the Portage Route Chapter since 1993, can describe historic sites along the Missouri River from Ft. Benton to Gates of the Mtns) References: please list up to three customer or affiliation references for a tour company to use in assessing your services.
